Kev-Kov....

If you havent already sold your Cadwell ticket for August...

I may have found a possible buyer.
Hes offering £60, ...although i did initially say it was being sold for £85. Confused

What would you like me to do/or say?

Wink

cadwell is a good track, many curves and quite a technical track, only one straight to built up speed, but not more than 160, the mountain is fun, WHEELIES!! Wink Laughing

I think that a lot of people start off in the Novice group because they are unfamiliar with the track, as opposed to being a track n00b...but Jimbob will be going slow 'cos he's got a crap bike Razz Wink

well on track there were a couple of people on supermotos and they done quite well, except on the straights, when i done brands indy circuit, the supermotos weren't too bad, but more straights!

jimboj should be ok for cadwell park, if hes good in the corners, though he may have a problem on the big straight!! Crying or Very sad

From what I've seen there's often quick people in the slow group 'cos that was the only group with places left.

The second time we went to snetterton there was a fast blade rider that did a very dodgy (racing) overtake inside V with a novice bib on around corams while she was quite close to the inside.

Not only shouldn't he have been doing that manoeuver, definately not to some one with a bib on, but he was definately faster than anyone else in the group... I think he got moved up due to that.
Though if people are seen doing such things it's usually best to report them to the marshals. They are not only endangering others, but themselves when doing that sort of thing around riders that may not know the lines or be nervese.

they should get black flagged!

when i was at cadwell, performance bikes were there on a staff track day and testing the duke 999 and benelli tornado, one of the guys on a Z1000 - advanced, was pulling wheelies all over the place and over the mountain when you got a wheelie, he was carrying it on and he got flagged down by the marshall and given a lecture, i think some tracks are more lenient on rules, ie pipes etc

They should ... but Corams is quite out of the way and it's pretty hard for the marshals to watch all the bikes all the time.

A certain person /did/ get black flagged for a similar (though unintentional) manouver at Lydden.. but then you can see pretty muich the whole track at once at Lydden Smile.

Lydden's quite nice.
About £100-£120 and all on weekends, which is nice.
It's short, though feels bigger than it looks. Allthough it seems quite simple, a few of the corners are quite complex. Padock is an interestingly cambered right hander that goves over the brow of the hill after the apex.... go too wide and you only find out when you're almost at the edge of the track... grass tracking fun Smile

There's also a nice series of bends that I think korn saw over 100 on his clocks while in the latter parts, I was probably going a bit quicker so maybe 110-120 knee down... Very Happy

You never get into 6th really, only 5th if you're brave and there was rs125s in the fast group! Smile

There's some vid's of us there:

A smaller bike did give it a damn good go against my r6 on my decent session, but never got past (reckon he was faster than me though).
However the only bike that passed me that session was an r1... which got me on the straights. I was catching up in teh corners slightly, but he may have been taking lines to make more use of the power coming out of them.
