I had installed Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) and although I had no problem's with it have now removed it for potential safety reasons.

Now when I go to download something or stream(dont know correct term) a video it automatically wishes to use DAP. How do I change this back to Windows default download program, I know it's possible but cant find out where/how.

Edited for Mr J's spelling analness! Laughing

Open control panel, and then open "Folder Options".

Click the "File Types" tab, and scroll down to the files which DAP is opening. It'll say in the bottom half of the window what program will be used to open the file.

Click the "change..." button, and choose a new application for that file extension.

If DAP doesn't appear anywhere in that list, then you need to modify your settings in your web browser.

Thumbs Up
